《竞赛》

费克斯·奥坎楚（Fearghus O Conchuir）应邀在2008年3月14日北京皇城艺术馆举行的爱尔兰艺术展开幕式上出演他的作品《竞赛》。《竞赛》原在爱尔兰国家电视台上以舞蹈电 影的形式呈现，现在演变为现场表演。在2007年8月（意大利）夏季歌剧节，此节目作为现场表演奉献给观众，并且获得了评论家的赞誉。此舞蹈将爱尔兰的体 育融入现代舞蹈中，使这个表演成为在北京奥林匹克之年展示爱尔兰文化最为贴切的作品。

Match

Fearghus Ó Conchúir has been invited to perform his work, Match, during the opening of the Irish art exhibition at Beijing Art Museum of the Imperial City on 14 March 2008.  Match was commissioned as a dance film by RTE, Ireland’s national television station, and has since been developed for live performance.  It premiered as a live performance to audience and critical acclaim at the Operaestate Festival (Italy) in August 2007.  The piece’s referencing of Irish sport, articulated though contemporary dance, truly makes it an appropriate work for a showcase of Irish culture in Beijing’s Olympics year.
