陈孝悦，男，出生于1963年2月，北京电影学院摄影学院摄影专业方向文学学士，英国伯顿大学（The University of Bolton）摄影学硕士。从事摄影教育工作多年，现阶段从事关于当今中国社会农民工影像的拍摄和课题研究。

2006年6月 参加在江苏同里举行的由中国摄影家协会教育委员会举办的首届中国高
等摄影教育理论研讨会；
2006年7月-9月 在英国拍摄摄影专题“英国的运河与工业文明”；
2007年5月 摄影作品“渔家姑娘在海边”刊登在《英国摄影杂志》（The British Journal
of Photography）；
2007年8月 摄影论文“摄影色彩的功能”和“深港电视粤语新闻节目画面研究”在
“科技促进发展”杂志发表；
2007年9月 摄影专题“移民城市”在中国平遥国际摄影节展出；
2007年9月 参加在平遥举行的由中国摄影家协会教育委员会举办的第二届中国高等
摄影教育理论研讨会，当选为中国摄影家协会教育委员会高教部理事；
2007年10月 摄影专题“移民城市”在“2007中国安吉高校影像大展”展出；

BIOGRAPHY – Chen Xiaoyue
Chen Xiaoyue is now the course leader of the Certificate of Higher Education on Photography at Shenzhen Institute of Technology. He graduated from the College of Photography of Beijing Film Academy and was awarded the BA degree on Photography. He also owns the MA degree on International Photojournalism, Documentary and Travel Photography by the University of Bolton, UK.
Chen Xiaoyue keeps on working as a freelance photographer. He is now working on the project about Chinese peasants, both from the visual angle of cities where they are working and villages where they are living. At the same time he is researching on the subject of images of migrant workers in contemporary China.
