讲座介绍：

Caroline Bourgeois是法国艺术机构Le Plateau的馆长，同时也负责法国收藏家Pinault的录像作品的收藏。这次讲座主要是介绍她最近策划的一个展览”passage du temps”（时间的转变和流动），该展览来自于Pinault的收藏。通过这个展览，Caroline一方面想展示该收藏的精神，同时也探讨如何一个展览能够让每个人都可以进入。
自 2004 年以来，Caroline Bourgeois 担任 Le Plateau/ Franc Ile de France 的艺术总监。这家画廊是在巴黎致力于当代艺术首要的艺术空间。她同时担任 Francois Pinault 的艺术顾问。Pinault 先生是一名法国商人。在过去两年中，他被人评为他是在当代艺术气象中最有影响力的人物。

最近，她在 Lille 组织了起来一个展览叫 《Passage du Temps》，其展示了利用录像，摄影，和发光体的艺术技巧。这次展览是以 Pinault 先生广泛的收藏为基础。

Introduction:

Since 2004, Caroline Bourgeois has held the position of Artistic Director at Le Plateau / Frac Ile de France, a premier art space in Paris dedicated to contemporary art. She is also Chief Curator at Le Plateau, an experimental art space, and runs TRAM, a network of contemporary art spaces. She also advises François Pinault and helped to build up his collection of art videos.

This time in Beijing, she will give a speech on her recent curated exhibition called “Passage du Temps”, a show based on the video collection of Mr François Pinault. Through this exhibition, Caroline demonstrates the sprit of the collection and in her talk will discuss how to get the public involved in exhibitions.

François Pinault owns one of the biggest collections of contemporary art in the world. In the magazine Art Review’s 2006 list of most powerful people in the art world, he was ranked in first place. In 2006 he obtained the ownership of the Palazzo Grassi in Venice to display the collection.

Since 2004, Caroline Bourgeois has held the position of artistic director of Le Plateau/ Frac Ile de France, a premier art space in Paris dedicated to contemporary art. She also serves as an art consultant for Mr. Francois Pinault, a French businessman who’s been named the most influential figure in contemporary art for the past two years.

Most recently, she has organized an exhibition in Lille called “Passage du Temps”, which showcases artistic techniques using video, photography and light. This exhibition is based on the extensive collection of Mr. Francois Pinault.
